Poker Tips Video Source & Information:

It might seem confusing to new poker players who get told that it’s good poker strategy to play cautiously out of position, but if you understand how poker ranges work then Phil’s turn lead here starts to make a ton of sense.

By 3-betting preflop he usually has the advantage when it comes to the broadway cards vs the two low cards on the flop.

When the King of clubs comes on the turn the range advantage swings back to Phil because the best two pair combinations, the overpair and nut flush draws and a gut shot, top set, and other similar nut combinations of hands primarily exist in his range compared to his opponent.

ACTIONFREAK still has some strong hands that should continue in position though so Phil can extract some value.

It’s always great when we get there and can go all-in for €33k though!
If you’re building huge chip stacks already but still looking for how to improve at pot limit omaha, no limit hold ‘em, or poker in general, Phil Galfond is here to teach you how to think like a professional poker player.
