  3. Just a misundertanding, but it was fun to watch! Deeb, if you bet and get called, just dont complain, show your hand and move on. No mercy 🙂

  4. Isn’t that entire reason why POSITION matters ❓❗️
    If he calls in position … he is paying to see BOTH of YOUR cards.
    You don’t get to demand to see his because he can muck if you proved that you BEAT HIM.

  5. The people saying that Deeb has to show the losing hand are categorically incorrect. There is an unspoken rule that if you say that someone is good, are you say what you have that they will then tell you if that’s good or they will show the hand that is winning. It can be embarrassing to show the losing hand and isn’t necessarily required. The only thing that is truly required at showdown at the winning hand is seen.

  6. Deeb was the one that was out of line in this incident imho. He shouldn’t be acting like such a Karen here.

  7. Whoever bets has to show first. Especially in such a high stakes event. Every hand contributes to future reads. I wouldn’t give my opponent the opportunity to lie about their hand either.

  8. I absolutely cannot stand these poker nitpickers who get all hung up on some perceived trivial breach in etiquette when they lose a hand. One night I legit had lost two full stacks like a gentleman at the table always saying “nice hand” and taking it. Then once as I folded I said “it’s just not my luck today” and folded. Someone at the table then cracked it saying I shouldn’t comment on a hand. guy. By folding I think I’m showing I didn’t connect with the board. I have nothing away but because he had just lost a hand to me he calls floor because I “spoke about the hand during the hand”. So childish to do this.
