Hopefully after watching this poker tips video you’re able to realize some things the next time your hands start shaking when you’re in a big poker pot.

If you’re the type of poker player that this happens to, it’s probably going to happen to you regardless of whether you are bluffing or have a good hand and is instead going to happen when you are involved in a big pot.

Your opponent isn’t going to read your shaking like a poker pro reading a poker face, they’re just going to know the pot size has reached a ‘meaningful’ amount or at least enough to get you ‘excited’.

You’re also not going to have to deal with your hands shaking forever, this type of ‘excitement’ usually goes away with experience at the poker table so remind yourself it’s normal and remind yourself it will eventually go away because it is and it will!

If you’re building huge chip stacks already but still looking for how to improve at pot limit Omaha, no limit hold ‘em, or poker in general, Phil Galfond is here to teach you how to think like a professional poker player.

Are you a new poker player or a poker beginner? Do you just need the best poker strategy and best poker tips or do you have a high-stakes poker related question you’d like a poker professional’s advice on? 1. I've notice more of an adrenaline rush when I have the nuts as opposed to when I am bluffing… Most people aren't aware of many of the physical tells…

  2. Get butterflies before I play regardless of stakes. That’s how I know I love this game!
    ❤️♣️♦️♠️

  3. I take beta blockers before sitting at the table. Propanolol blocks the the absorption of adrenaline into the cells. Wont cure the shakiness completely. You might need benzodiazepines for that, which isnt exactly recommended 😂

  4. Its not about how big the pot is or how big the game is relative to my roll.Everytime i am involved in a pot no matter how significant my heart rate just goes up. But i learn to deal with it now because i know it will awlays be like this so it does not bother me i can still think and execute. At the beggining though it wasnt the case i couldnt think clearly and was worried that i would give away something but i learned players are bad at live reads. If you shake during a hand i know about 50% of players will read that as being strong and the others will read it as a bluff. So if you think you are giving away a tell dont worry its just as likely that they will asume the oposite.

  5. Eventually though you lose the meaning of money, when you start run 4-figure bluffs on the regular, your hands don’t shake, you just wait for a fold or say nice hand.

Otherwise, you will be pretty nervous bluffing big imo
