Daniel Negreanu is a Canadian professional poker player who was born on July 26, 1974, in Toronto, Ontario. He is widely considered one of the greatest poker players of all time and has won six World Series of Poker bracelets and two World Poker Tour championship titles.

Negreanu’s interest in poker began at a young age when he played small stakes games with his friends. He dropped out of high school to pursue poker full-time and eventually moved to Las Vegas to play professionally.

In 1998, Negreanu won his first World Series of Poker bracelet at the age of 23, becoming the youngest player to win the event at the time. He went on to win five more bracelets in the years that followed.

In addition to his success in live tournaments, Negreanu is also known for his online poker play and has won millions of dollars playing on various poker sites. He is a regular on televised poker shows and has also written several books on poker strategy.

Outside of poker, Negreanu is a vegan and an avid hockey fan. He has been inducted into both the Poker Hall of Fame and the Canadian Poker Hall of Fame, cementing his status as one of the greatest players in the game’s history.
