Poker tips: What It’s Like to Play Poker on TV? [Ask Alec]

Poker Tips Video Source & Information:

One of my dreams as a young aspiring professional was to play poker on national television, and still to this day there’s nothing as exciting as getting the opportunity to play on the main stage.
For the past few years, I’ve been traveling the U.S. playing on the Poker Night in America circuit. With stops in Philadelphia, NYC, Pittsburgh, Florida and Oklahoma I’ve got to live out my dream of seeing the country while playing some high stakes poker.

I often get asked if televised poker resembles a normal game? Do people play differently? Is the game staged?

I share my experiences, challenges as well as the most common psychological adjustments that players make when playing on television!

  1. Hey Alec I was wondering if you could do a video on how you report your taxes at the end of the year and how you keep track of all your expenses/earnings from poker. Thank you and keep up the good work. 👍🏼

  2. Hi Alec! Great video as always! Thank you for doing this. I have a lot of questions but let's go with this one: when winning big online and live how do you balance your poker money and your life money? What % you withdraw, if you use online cards like skrill/netellet, how do you manage the taxes etc. 🙂
