  1. How has this video helped you to improve your starting hand selection?

  2. Last week I played tournament with 15BB's UTG and Raised 3x with 99's. Folded around to BB he called also with around 15BB's. Flop comes 2,5,10 rainbow and he leads into me with a shove and I folded. Against this aggressive/solid player would it just make sense to shove the 99's pre-flop?
(As it turns out he had pocket 88's(He probably thought I had 2 broadways alot of the time in my range).
This is my home game and I often stack this player when I flop an over-pair/solid hand as I know he is willing to bluff-shove for his tourney life. This ended up being a pivotal hand and I felt a bit foolish raising 3x with 99's instead of just sticking my 15BB's in. Thoughts?

  3. Is there a video on this question or can someone help me understand when these coaches are saying he's in for 20 big blinds deep or he's at a table with 60 big blinds how do I know what the blind is you could say 60 big blinds and I don't know how much that is so I have no idea what you're talking about

  4. Jonathen hello! First, when will I get to meet you at STONES, my home court!?? Sorry I missed you when you were here last time! Anyways, I know this is one of my weeknesses, pre flop selection, I really need to understand how close to these charts do you personally stick to these charts!! Do you sit there w plenty of chips and out of itching to play will you severely venture off and play 2/4 off suit or something crappy to see if it hits? Do you ever fight the feeling to gamble like a lot of us?? If not, PLEASE explain or give example what hand/hands exactly might your deviations be???? Thank you so much Jonathen, big fan, Brett Roseville, Ca

  5. Tourney start vs cash start…please elucidate…when I watch Hustler Casino Live they play crazy hands. When I try that s*** on Party Poker tour get my ass handed to me

  6. Telling my wife how thankful I am I discovered your channel. Super applicable and real world coaching. I’m literally watching my +/- start to consistently move to the + thank you!

  7. Charts link is not in the description. Might want to change that since you say it is.

  8. I don’t like getting it in with AK pre regardless of my stack depth. I personally run worse than a morbidly obese chain smoker against even the tiniest of pocket pairs and weaker aces I have crushed with AK, so that’s my reason. The last bigger tournament I entered was a $500 buyin $100K gtd live tournament at a local tribal casino poker room. Semi final table, only sitting on a min cash the way the payouts were structured. Got it in with AK off in the SB with around a 30BB stack. Hated doing it with still 30 bigs, but the table was playing pretty loose and there were lots of limpers in front of me and I was in the SB so I felt compelled to just rip with the AK rather than trying to play it OOP in a multiway pot. Got called by the button limper with AJ suited. Flop was J rag rag… turn and river jacks gave them quads 🤮
