In theory, you’re 100% correct about short term bias. But in live games, a few downturn sessions esp in fishy games, will upset you. Youre not gonna see 100,000 hands w Aces in a reasonable timeframe. Fact

It's Tuff man when u keep seeing it tho over and over, I only get to do like 2 local tournaments a week and maybe 4 to 5 online but the same bad, being ahead and calling out the river card if its all in PRE, the flushes, set over set and he binks quads on river, can't get people to fold the draws with aggressive bets and sure bad they get rewarded, I try to stay positive but it's getting to the point where i'm starting to hate the game. Thanks for some pointers but if your just an unlucky man at this game, not much is gonna change, it just is what it is. Lucky in other things I guess.
I'm honestly like down $3K with 190 sessions with cash and live Tournaments, over 2 years of results. ACR/ BetOnline and local Casino it doesn't matter. Funny as to say, so last night I played .50/$1 3rd hand pk AA, two callers with TA8 two hearts, I check, see a bet and a call and then I reraise, he jams I call vs set of 8's river an 8 I just turned off the PC and laughed. People can say whatever they want and say do this and do that and keep playing and take it, eventually it will turn around, what we need to play 10k tournaments, come on. Your unlucky your unlucky, just except it.

Yeah you know you're right Black rain they use a number generator and so all the instances or the hands that you got to play out situations have got to be taken as a percentage 60% of the time this way maybe I shouldn't do it this way

Eh, I don't obsess about losing to AJ with AK when they hit and I miss. I don't even obsess when I have 400bb and a 100bb player shoves preflop with 96o to my AK and they hit and I miss (although it's bloody annoying). But Nathan, honestly tell me. If you played at a site and over 2 or so days had your FH beaten by Quads 6x in a row, would you honestly just put this down to variance? Especially when it's for a significant amount of your bankroll.
