  1. Scouting report from a friend .. "I just got confirmation that Encore will expand their hours again. Starting in October they will be open 10am-4am 7 days a week."

  2. In villain’s shoes you can’t really call on the river with a ten, can you? What do you beat really? However, you are getting great odds. AKcc, JQ which u are blocking a ton if you have a Ten like JT, QT spades, clubs, etc…

  3. I don't agree that the river is a value bet. Is a T calling here after such a show of strength? I think he'd only be getting called by better. Better to check call and give the guy a chance to bluff since flush missed. I'd jam if non-club Q hit, tho. Top two, KQ, AQ might call. Maybe even QJ. Live 2/5 players have a tougher time folding after hitting top pair on the river for some reason.

  4. Great tip about jamming the river, Bart. I learn something from you almost every video.

  5. Appreciate the caller, the hand, the host and the show. I'm needing to come away from these faster (turbos) games so that I have the time to think some of this through. It's invaluable.

  6. One thing to add about the riv shove is your line is so strong your opponent with 2 pair may think you wouldnt do this with just an overpair so will call because you cant really have it unless you have tens full/quads. Basically they can think your value is too narrow to not call down

  7. The guys who are “bothered” by a hand like this are the very lucky ones.
Disappointed that they only won a pretty large pot, and not the extra $440.
I’m sure a lot of you know where I’m coming from. For me, the river is a complete brick, but we were already crushed on the flop, destined to loose our entire stack anyway. Any 9… 10’s full… even the occasional “LoL” turned or rivered full house…
