I think that pocket 10 hand was the wrong way to think about it. You only have to be good 1/4 of the time to be profitable. Your hand was well concealed and your villain hadn't show any strength with his story. You're a better poker player than I am, but it seemed your judgment was blinded by a statistic that didn't apply to you in that situation.
I like the fact that you’re adding the mindset and the mental issues and feelings that go threw our mind during poker sessions instead of just talking about range and percentage and pot odds- makes it more fun to watch.

You're thinking about it wrong. Yes there are not a lot of bluffs there but for the price you don't have to be right too often. On the A9 hand. As you saw with the 10s hand. Straddling is NEVER plus EV.
