As you switch from no limit Texas hold em to pot limit Omaha, you have to remember that hand rankings and winning hand strength changes drastically.
Your opponent’s poker range is just a lot wider than any NL texas hold ‘em player is used to!
As a no limit player it’s very normal, when you switch over to pot limit, to get a lot of money in with overpairs, weak pair + weak flush draw, or weak combo draw type hands because it appears as though you might have a lot of outs if you’re up against a set.
The only problem with this line of thinking is, while you might have 17 outs with a combo draw if you’re up against a set, you’re probably going to be pretty dead against another large portion of your opponents value range.
Always keep in mind that you’re playing against a wider range of poker hands and as a consequence the strength of your draw matters a lot more in PLO when the money starts going all-in (unless you’re playing short stack poker!)

Personally, I go for OLP. When there’s high cards you go low, and make sure your your flush draws are low. Don’t expect to win big though, or at all for a long long time! Seriously though wt??
