  1. This is Sherlock. Thanks for doing this UR. And yeah, if you guys have any questions please ask me.

5:20 Would you cbet this with ATo? I was trying to construct a good cbet range and I just don't have many value hands in my cbet range and I honestly don't even have that many good bluff cbets. My value cbets are 98s, 87s, A8s (sometimes), A5s, 65s, 54s, KK-JJ (I check back AA), and then sometimes hands like K8s and Q8s, J8s that I've gone with a mixed BT vs CO 3bet bluff range on. Although in a 3bet pot my 65s and 54s should be considered bluffs. My bluffs so far are AK, AQ, 3 combos of T9s, K7s, Q7s (probably not K6s or Q6s), all 4 combos of 76s. I'm checking back most of my unsuited bluff 3 bets KQo, KJo, QJo, but I think maybe I should include ATo as a bluff cbet since it has an A?

12:45 I can't currently track Zone poker anywhere. I have Bovada Card Catcher and PT4. Is there a way to track Zone using these? I don't care about tracking other players in Zone, but it would be nice to at least track win rate and be able to mark hands for review. You are right that cash games are softer by far. However most of my bankroll has come from grinding Zone poker actually. I play it right now to practice GTO stuff and get in a lot of hands, it's a little more entertaining and I can usually handle 3 tables of it (2 tables of 25NL and 1 table of 10NL). Since the video I'm up about 12 buyins averaging 2 tables and 5-10 hours a week. It's not a great winrate to be honest, but it is +ev for sure. I would have a higher winrate but I call on rivers a lot more than I should be. That's probably still my biggest leak and something you didn't get much of in this video.

16:30 Yeah I go back and forth on this cbet. I actually like cbetting MORE with TT-88 because with JJ you block his value calling range harder. You are usually getting exactly one street of value anyways from a 7 or TT-88 so there is no need to get it on the flop. Especially at these stakes you induce a ton of bad bluffs from people when you check back. I find a very large percentage of my profit comes from bluff catching in position 2 streets after I check back flop.

21:20 What is the best way to practice a mixed 3 bet strategy? Should I use PokerSnowie or is there other software available? I'm still trying to construct good 3bet ranges espcially in the "money matchups" like SB vs BT, BT vs CO, SB vs CO, BB 3 bets, etc.

25:20 I think you didn't see what happened with KQo, BT limped, I iso'ed from the SB, BB called, and then the BT shoved. What would a good calling range be there? Just AK and JJ+? Would you throw in AQ as well?

  2. Just a quick update. I had a good upswing this afternoon up 4 buyins at 25NL Zone which put my bankroll into 50NL territory. This evening I tried 1 table of 50NL Zone alongside 2 tables of 25NL Zone and was up about 3 buyins in a 2 hour session. All in all a 10 buyin upswing in about 5 hours of play!

If you run into the right people on Zone they are willing to bluff off their entire stack. The problem with Zone is you can't really identify these people like you can in a cash game.
