Playing 1-2 NL in 2017 😎

Texas Holdem Tips Video Source & Information:

Despite what Vloggers like Andrew Neeme, Brad Owen, Johnnie Vibes and Marle claim… poker has always been about LOCATION!

Never has this been more true, than in 1-2 No Limit holdem live cash games in the casinos since 2016!

Gentlemen, do not be led to false conclusions! Poker is about winning, not losing. It’s about $ not “fun.” Y’know what’s fun? Making $.

I’m Mark Ari and You’re Welcome 😎

  1. I have to disagree on this one, i come from stars background and even 2/5 is weak where I play, and it's filled with plenty of regs. You have to remember some players that are "good" live cap their potential, in addition you have more implied odds when a 2/5 sits at 1/2 especially if they are young tend to gamble more. You make decent points and while the level of play might rise a bit live, live players are still a gold mine even if they are "good" regs πŸ˜‚ (it's inevitable to be behind the current game when you don't play online)

  2. That's why I barely play $1/$2 games anymore. I have had better experiences with $1/$3, $2/$3, $5/5 and $5/$10 games.

Low-stakes players just gamble with anything.

Plus it's better to play those daily or nightly tournaments too.

  3. Hi Mark. On table/seat selection, would you prefer to have position on the weakest player at the table or the strongest player at the table?

  4. Hey how's it going mark question I am recreational player and I want to start playing 1/2 no limit is 4800 a good bankroll to start 1/2 no limit? Last but not least you're the best online poker vlogger all the other ones are jokes they don't know bad keep up with videos.

  5. Guess I am lucky but our casino has a LOT of novice players all the time. More so at night and on weekends, also the spring and summer seem to have more recreational players coming out. I do not expect the skill of the average 1 2 player to increase from where it is now, I think it has peaked, still MANY bad players, in the last month I saw 4 people call an all in pre flop with A 10 , I saw someone go all in pre with pocket 4s , pocket 9s, one time I flopped the nut flush and someone went all in on the flop, not saying this happens every day, but it happens pretty often if you are in a heavily populated poker room. In a small casino with just regulars I imagine it's much more difficult.
Also the so called decent players have MANY weaknesses, one in particular is that they get married to their big pocket pairs etc…you often have great implied odds against them.
Mark makes a lot of great videos and gives great advice, but I can tell you that bad poker players are still out there in great numbers, though I am sure you have to me MUCH more skilled, to beat them on average, then you did in 2005 etc. Hopefully the game will make a comeback on TV. It certainly has the potential to get big again.
