– Tight-aggressive, or TAGs
– Loose-aggressive, or LAGs
– Tight-passive, or Rocks
– Loose-passive, or Calling stations

The examples of game situations will demonstrate how the tight-aggressive style can maximize your profitability!

  1. This bad is valuable.

    I realized I am a combination of all of them and dictate the style on the player(s) I am up against. Makes me highly volatile, I suppose. But it also makes my opponents take me all in with 8 6 off suit against a k off suit. I won with a high. I also recently lost against a friend that went all-in blind and I had pocket Kings. He rivered a straight. Poker is poker. You better have money to cover those bad beats. I would rather be viewed as a fish than a great player, would rather they underestimate and feel confident.
