  1. The Banker advantage is too slight to rely on. I have seen the Player win 8 to 10 times in a row, and I have seen the Player win a shoe overall. The Banker advantage is very slight.

  2. Listen, the banker bet has a very very slight edge over the player bet, and this is over tens of thousands of hands. In other words, negligible. If you simply bet banker every hand, then what you're doing is taking away all the intuition involved. Go with your gut, and look for patterns. Also, pay attention to the count. This is something most players (Asian players included) tend to basically ignore. For example, if you look up at the board and see that the bank has won 17 hands, and the player 16, then bet player to even it up on the next hand. After all it's what they call a 50/50 game, and l think that's accurate.

  3. Very first time in the casino my friend and I were playing Pai Gow Poker. He got 5 of a kind and didn't bet the bonus. The very next hand, I got 5 of a kind, and hadn't bet the bonus either. Moral of the story. I always throw something on the bonus even it's a sucker bet because the moment you don't is when you get some ridiculously rare hand. Last time I played I actually hit a straight flush that paid for my whole trip to vegas. 😀

  4. the banker is NOT always the best bet ESPECIALLY when its losing. iv seen the player romp all over the banker by huge margins …iv seen 50 players and only 24 bank wins in a single shu…in a 50/50 game things like this shouldn't happen but it does happen. …the best way to bet is to look for repeating patterns like 'ppbbppbb' or chop pbpbpbpb. and of course runs on either side. after 2 or 3 wins in a row double or triple your base bet.
