Going To War vs. One Player ⋅ SplitSuit $1/$2 Poker VLOG 010

Poker Strategy Info And Source:

This $1/$2 #poker session was full of pots played against a single opponent at the table. Let’s #VLOG through 6 hands that cover everything from draws, to single pairs, to some 3bet pots where every hand involves the same aggressive-fish player. Notice how some strategy discussions are a little different than “normal” when playing against a player like this, and be sure to leave a comment if you’d play any hands differently.

  1. Want even more? Catch up on all of my $1/$2 VLOG episodes here: https://www.splitsuit.com/1-2-live-cash-poker-vlog

  2. At least in NC you won't have to play with them rat gnawed chips from Orange City FL any more Legend 🤣 Cheers from Aus 🇦🇺👍

  3. As usual I agree with…… almost every play.
    Except for the first hand.
I would have probably called there with top pair. Of course SPR is sort of an issue there, but going with my read, I think villain has way too many draws in his range for me to fold here. I would have probably put him on ace high.
    But then again, I´m not a pro…..

  4. Hey split great video and thumbs up thx for all the hard work your doing much appreciated keep up the great work and by the way did you go to the WSOP this year and if yes how did you do ?

  5. Great video! I liked the topic you covered about showing vs being a rules nit. I totally agree that in a live game your bb/hour is greatly increased by playing friendly and sweet with the fellow fish on a table. Showing headsup, playing along with a straddle, and chopping, are all -EV online, but we aren’t playing online at the casino. By playing along with these things on the table, I will often see a fish reload an extra time or two instead of shove-leaving. The fish just want to have fun playing poker, and as frequent fliers, its our job to provide that for them. (While taking our +EV fee ofc)

  6. Man when you have the Time you should run the Numbers on that First Hand, that happens to me a lot and I tend to commit, sometimes they have draws but I’m not sure if I should just call and see the river, commit or like you did and just fold

  7. Would love to do the 'painting on the wall-job' for you. dear Split, bit of a travel tho'.. Greetings from the Netherlands =]

  8. Really appreciate this content. I would like if you would also show spots where you either fold pre-flop or on the check/fold on the flop in situations where you think a lot of 1/2 players would normally call or raise. Yeah the big hands are nice, but the content I'm looking for is spots that you often think are misplayed by regs/rec players and why you took the line you did.
