  1. Great story, very reflective of any venture, comparable to business where 1st mover advantage in an immature market brings in the big profits. Key message here is that for any aspiring professional or even semi professional poker player it's his or her job to find a poker scene that is still immature and where there are VIPs a plenty. From my experience Asia still has some pockets left where this is possible.

  2. It’s really a interesting story. I started playing in 2007 and have played in Macau in 2009 since I stayed in Singapore which is a 3hrs flight there. Didn’t know the big game was so soft there although I didn’t have the bankroll to play in that high stakes game.
Now that I’m living in USA, I would have like to play in that game in 2012 if time could be turn back.
I might have an edge since I’m Chinese and can speak Cantonese as well.

Really love your story and keep up the good vlog.

  3. Crazy fun story! I always looked at my poker competition as enemies never would I see myself having dinner with them nice to see how you built a relationship with these vip in the times to come.

  4. Thanks for sharing. I know your busy.. This may be a great story you could publish in the future. Kind of like "The Professor, banker and suicide king". It was a unique time in poker history.
