  1. first thing came into my mind is villian had just made a straight/royal flush on river
    teheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  2. If you assume he just made his (nut)flush, why not just go for max value and shove the river on that miraclecard? Most people cant fold their (nut)flushes anyway.

  3. I think I'm with caller…he will call a bet on the river with any flush and maybe even a straight if you size small enough…but without the nut flush the chances of him just going check/check is huge. Think about it if he has the baby flush or straight and bets out and you re raise he's going to fold so why would he risk losing to a bluff on a hand with decent showdown value. So the only reason to check is if you put him on the nut flush ONLY or obviously nut flush enough times for it to be profitable

  4. One of the most bizarre hands, I have seen, with a new player leading on every single street. I am fully on board with the passive flop line, because yeah its two pair, but its a very particular board, where so many hands connect so strongly, that bottom two is not really a value hand.

When the original donk better give up on the turn and the other guy blocker bets, I do however agree with Bert, that now Hero has the best hand like 95% of the time if not more. So yeah at that point I would start to get aggressive and raise it up. And then of course the river card was just completely gin for Hero.

  5. What's with this logic.. you lead because you're scared of him bet folding if you check?? If you're scared of it getting checked back if he has KJ then sure but if you're sure he has a draw it just came in so he's never checking back(KJ wont bet but probably doesnt call anything on river anyway) and those two scenarios you describe result in you winning basically the same amount with the check raise route having the upside of him maybe calling a much larger bet.
