The computers have actually been designed to play intuitively. Mathematically it would be interesting to see how this compares to poker. How many possible scenarios are there or lines of play to take in any given hand.? It seems like the variations possible would be much less than a game where they ate close to infinite. Because in poker as opposed to chess the unknown variable is knowing the holding of the other player. As long as the computer didn't know the exact hand wouldn't it be possible for the human player to still develop an exploitative strategy against the software?
