Unless you are gonna be 4x betting according to basic strategy, which you do not, just paying the ante and blind is awfully boring. Trips can be fun and help create decent momentum to increase your bets if your hit it a few times. Plus the house hedge isnt really all that bad compared to a lot of bets in the casino.
