I definitely like going for the min cash when you are short stacked and close enough to the money that it's better value to just get the cash. I will generally look around the room and make sure there are enough stacks in worse shape before making a decision on stalling and sitting on my stack. It is also good to note than many recreational players over fold the money bubble so it can be a good spot to attack if those to your Left are weak passive players that look like they are trying to cash as well.
