The 4 Things You MUST Do Before a Poker Session!

10 thoughts on “The 4 Things You MUST Do Before a Poker Session!

  1. "If you are already stressed, tense, or upset or frustrated, perhaps it's not a good day to play poker…"

Well, that's my normal state of mind. Guess I'm quitting poker. 🙁

  2. I mostly play in a low stakes game where my skill level is way above the other players. The game usually has crazy profit margins but the swings can be so large that sometimes my ROI can be way above what it should logically be. I find it hard to quit the game with all the loose money flying around. Another problem is that I don't get to play it as regularly as I would like to, so I can't judge the variation properly and when I get unlucky it can hurt. I need to find a strategy that keeps me in a logical bracket. Should I move up a level where the play is more balanced? Any advice?

  3. Nap+ Latte and light snack like a muffin + stretch for like 5 mins + warm shower and head to the card room. If I am playing online I add one table play for ten mins or so and add tables slowly, especially on Zoom.

  4. Great video, though maybe look into a mic or something because there was this constant scratching/creaking sound coming from what sounded like your camera and your voice sounded very drowned out and 'in the background'. Good tips though. Subbed 🙂

  5. I like to dust off a few thousand dollars at the slot machine. When I’m down to my last $100 I hit the 1/2NL table and think about the good times when I was a thousandaire. This way I can never lose too much at the poker tables.

  6. I’m glad you provide content like this because the mental game can often be overlooked by poker youtubers. I like the question “how much am I willing to lose” because losing is worse negative EV than winning is positive EV. 😊

  7. Hey, I was wondering if there was an online poker site I can play on in California. Ive been looking to play real money but can’t seem to find a site…?
