  1. What would YOU do with Q♦ J♥ on the river?

    Your Stack (HJ): $187,000

    Their Stack (BB): $307,800

    Pot: $35,200

    Board: T♠ 6♦ 8♥ 4♣ T♦

    Brandon checks

    A) Check

    B) Bet $13,000

    C) Bet $35,200

    D) Bet $187,000 (all in)

  2. I like (c) pot sized bet. This polarizes your range as you would also do this with the nuts

  3. I’m checking back V will just arrive at the river with too many TX, hero can have the dominating TX that but I don’t think her line will commonly contain those hands. I assume solver says shove this combo because it blocks some of Villian’s better TX, QT and JT

  4. Thank you for not applying solver or any other boring apps. (As We are not writing phd thesis here).

  5. This one is pretty tough. if we check we always lose so that’s not great and jamming seems unnecessary to pull off a successful bluff. so it’s between bet half pot and bet pot. I think the big blind is going to have more Tx than the HJ and could also have a hand like a straight or slow played set that is now a boat, however that’s less likely due to the fact our opponent is out of position and is likely to try to build the pot on an earlier street with those hands. One good thing about this hand is that it blocks some Tx combos. Betting small only really seems effective against a hand like 77, 99, or 8x and even then a sticky player might find a call with those hands facing a small bet, the pot sized bet applies more pressure to those hands but we lose more when we get snapped off by Tx.I think a low frequency, pot sized bluff is how I would play this, but i’m really not sure. interesting spot!

  7. having QJ specifically seems to block a lot of the Ten they could have in their range. On top of that, a T might have bet this way, and a set definitely would have bet this way for two streets which would now have a boat. It's a bit much to jam this river but a large bet would make sense as a triple barrel bluff as most of the value hands that would have been betting would improve on this river.
